When we visited Donald in Independence, Missouri we had to catch breakfast on Sunday before church. This is always such a dilemna, as we try not to purchase things or support businesses on the Sabbath so that others can have a Sabbath day too. But when you are traveling you are in a bit of a jam and still have to eat.....so we took Donald and his friend out for breakfast at McDonalds (their choice). We couldn't belive what we saw at this McDonalds. On the wall was a mural that had information about Independence being a spot of the early members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Who would have connected a McDonald's to Joseph Smith and Mormonism. It made us chuckle!
