Spicey Black Bean soup


Black bean soup
this is based on weight watchers recipe but with the extra fatting stuff like butter and sour cream  lol

Take 1/4 stick of butter and melt in large pot. Place 4 spoonfuls of garlic (the type of garlic that comes in the jar with olive oil) Add 1 bag of frozen onions and cook until onions are tender and be sure not to cook on high as the garlic will burn.

Add 6 cans of black beans,
1 tsp red pepper flakes
3 tsp of ground cumin

Add 2 cans of chicken broth.

Take a drink mixer thingy, and place in the pot until about 2/3 of the beans are pureed and the other 1/3 are still whole.

Add 2 cans of diced tomatoes
Add 2 cans of corn, drained
Add 2 small cans of green chilies

Heat on medium until hot. Serve with sour cream and cilantro on top.
