True education seeks, then, to make men and women not only good mathematicians, proficient linguists, profound scientists, or brilliant literary lights, but also honest men, combined with virtue, temperance, and brotherly love – men and women who prize truth, justice, wisdom, benevolence, and self-control as the choicest acquisitions of a successful life-David O. Another great homeschooling Activity at Day Break Adult Day Care
For the last several years, Stephanie Magee has planned a fabulous activity where our homeschooling group goes to the Day Break Adult Day Care and puts on an impromptu talent show. The kids were all great this year. The only Quinn kids that went Brianna and Jadon. Brianna handled some of the announcing and we were all so excited that Jadon demonstrated his rubik's cube talent (which we all think is awesome!)
It is always wonderful to see the residents and to feel their wonderful apprecaition and warm spirits. I am grateful to Stephanie Magee for planning such a great activity!
