What a wonderful blessing and a responsibility for a boy at the age of 12 to receive the priesthood in our faith. These pictures are of the day, right before church when Dallin was going to receive the Aaronic priesthood and be ordained to the office of a deacon. What a privledge for Dallin that his father, Michael could do the ordination. I am grateful in God's program that teaches young boys responsibility and the purpose of service. Our faith's definition of the priesthood is the power to act in God's name. Some confuse the priesthood as a right, but really it is a responsibility...the responsibility to serve others and to be the answer to other's prayers through their own service.
